When I first met Julien Brouta, Senior Manager of Bonajour, I was struck by how clear her skin seems. There was a natural glow to her. This despite the fact that she was jetlagged after a non stop flight from Korea and meeting me in the middle a very busy 'Beautyworld conference,' being held in Dubai.
"I use these product on my own skin, all the time," she said. The moment I heard that it was chemical free, I was hooked. The origins of Bonajour began in 2010 with a young girl who had to utilise pure
natural ingredients in making her own skincare products to combat skin issues due to her
scarce surroundings. The products were launched in the UAE recently and have already received a great response.
The CEO Dahae Kim, says, "Since childhood, due to the fact that I have been suffering from various skin issues (atopic dermatitis, acne, allergies), I started creating and cultivating my own cosmetic products which leads to the starting point of Bonajour.
Knowing how it feels to have overly sensitive skin, natural cosmetics products
that I made for family use are now being widely sold in the market.
Since launching the brand, Bonajour has enjoyed consistent growth in the past
10 years through relentless commitment in product quality management.
Constant feedback from customers mentioning about drastic improvement
after using our products have encouraged me to place more effort in developing
better products to satisfy our consumers without losing sight of our origins."
The brand has been recognised on Korea’s No. 1 Health & Beauty Store, Olive Young. It has also successfully launched in the US and Japanese market on Amazon.
The fact that its genuinely vegan, using every day ingredients like eggplant and rose, are big plus points for me. I've tried the products myself and have noticed a difference in my skin. The green tea toner is fragrance free and though I'm very slack when it comes to my own skin, I'm sure you will love these as much as I do.
